Superb micropub with cask and keg beers. An up to date list can be found on the Real Ale Finder App. The interior was nicely kitted out with the bar along the back wall, which had an oak counter top and shiny black tiles along the bar front. This micro had a friendly atmosphere and good banter, hence we stayed a lot longer than anticipated with the friendly locals and the owner Ben, who has taken over the pub next door.
Three handpumps with two in use on our mid week visit, Stancill Summer Breeze and Sweet Caroline. If you want a beer from the pub next door you can bring it in, along with their pork pies, or take a beer from here into the pub. To get here was a short bus ride from the centre of Chesterfield.
